Tabbi is a trip-planning tool. This policy covers the Tabbi website (tab.bi) and the Tabbi Trip Planner browser extension.
When you create a trip plan, we store the plan title, city stops, and any places you add. Plans are identified by a passphrase you choose — we do not require an account or email address.
The browser extension stores your server URL and trip passphrases locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local. This data never leaves your browser except when making requests to the Tabbi server you have configured.
We do not collect your name, email address, or any identifying personal information. We do not use advertising trackers or sell data to third parties.
When you use the browser extension to add a place to a trip, the extension may send the URL and a text extract of the current page to the Tabbi server so that an AI model can identify the relevant place. This content is used only to process your request and is not stored beyond that.
Tabbi uses the Anthropic Claude API to help identify and describe places. Page content sent for this purpose is subject to Anthropic's privacy policy.
Tabbi uses session cookies to keep you signed in. We do not run third-party analytics.
